Orange Bay Tour Hurghada: Island Cruise with snorkling & Lunch

Orange Bay is widely called the "Maldives of the Red Sea" – a sandbar island fringed with powder-white sand and shallow turquoise lagoons, about 90 minutes by boat from Hurghada Marina. This 7-hour cruise gives you two full hours of beach time at the island plus two snorkeling stops at nearby coral reefs.

The day starts with an air-conditioned pickup from your Hurghada hotel and a short transfer to the marina. Once onboard, the yacht sets a steady course out to sea, with open sun decks above and a shaded lounge below. Dolphins occasionally swim alongside the bow on the way out – they aren't guaranteed, but it happens.

The yacht heads out to Orange Bay, where small shuttle boats ferry you ashore for two hours of beach time. Wade out across the lagoon – the water stays barely waist-deep for long stretches and the visibility is almost glass-clear.

Back on the water, the yacht anchors at two coral reefs for snorkeling. After a quick safety briefing, it's in with mask, fins, and life jacket – drift over gardens of brain and fan coral, surrounded by parrotfish, butterflyfish, and clownfish darting through anemones; guides stay close for first-timers. Lunch is served buffet-style on deck: grilled mains, salads, seasonal fruit, plus unlimited soft drinks, water, and tea throughout the day.

For more adventure, parasailing and intro dives are available as on-the-day add-ons (weather permitting). You'll be back at your hotel by mid-afternoon.
